I noticed that immediately after Uniswap listed their coin for trade, Binance not only listed #UniSwap immediately, but also had futures contracts ready - creating an ability to "short" the new Uni coin.
I found the immediate listing not completely random, but the speed at which the futures contracts were also implemented had me wondering the true intentions for the speed at which it was done.
I began to wonder what the effect of Binance Futures with 1 - 50x or 1 - 75x with leverage had on the underlying coin.
From all of the recent examples below, since January when perpetual futures began trading on Binance. The effect has been a short boost in volume and higher prices, then a subsequent decline. The long term effect has been to not be able to consistently surpass the growth rates the coin trajectory had been on prior to a perpetual futures listing on Binance.
When ChainLink began trading in January, they listed futures for ChainLink, and there still was a continued eventual rise in the underlying price. This eventually stopped and Binance continued to increase the derivatives that could be traded involving ChainLink, increasing the leverage allowed.

In almost all cases the asset's rate of growth accelerates. This culminates with a peak and a subsequent rapid decline. The long-term growth is stopped, and the valuation begins to hover around the amount - when the listing was created.
